Exalted is definitely a warring alliance. And well as of now, we have no real strategy. But, I'm working on quite a few tactics and I totally don't want to sound like a raging war-queen, but I do believe that strategy is the way to win wars. Now, most of you joined us from Plague, where- quite frankly- war was like a religion. The Marshal made people actually set alarms and set up portal tomes and all of this madness.
War should be a fun, team-building experience. And nothing more.
Now, if it is a TW we're working on then it will vary on the turf we're fighting on.
But with normal alliance wars, the best tactic is to group up in parties (it helps to have a mystic in your party) and go together. Keep an invisible rogue out on your flank, and another in front. Marksmen work best in the center of formation, and Goons and Hellions go here as well. Your Mystic needs to stay protected. They're the heart of your party.
The rogues in front will be your first line, and the rogues behind will cover. Marksmen have range so they can generally fire rapidly from beside the mystic's side. The mystic will heal, heal, heal. DEF buffs and dmg absorbs are the mystic's main concern. Dragoons and Hellions will be the inner most line, considering most of them can deal massive damage, and take a lot of it too.
